That's right...I was built in 1858,back when homes were built to last. After 156 years, there are a some cosmetic work that needs to be done to bring me back to my real glory. Like a new buffing and polish on my hardwood floors.My wall paper is sagging in spots but over all,I stand sound. My French doors in the parlor can be used open or closed for heating convenience if needed. I have a beautiful wood burning stove in the living room, which is in the middle of the home for extra warmth througho ut to help on heating or just sit and enjoy the extra warmth. My kitchen cabinets were crafted the work shop upstairs in the barn by my current owner's husband.
