It includes a large bedroom, private bath, spacious den, and a balcony overlooking the National Shrine that is perfect for evening drinks and fall dinners. The rent is $1350 for the bedroom (11' x 9'6"), den (11'6" x 12'6"), and balcony. Move-in date: August 1. One-year lease, no pets unfortunately. Amenities The house has a fully-stocked kitchen with granite countertops, modern stainless-steel energy-saving appliances, a new dishwasher, gas stove, and lots of cabinet space. There's a kitchen balcony, a large high-efficiency washer and dryer, hardwood floors in the main living areas and carpeting in bedrooms. Monthly maid service is included in the rent, but utilities are shared. The Community We're in Chancellor's Row, a quiet, safe neighborhood in Brookland. The neighbors are friendly, and there are lots of professionally-landscaped green spaces, including a park nearby. Transportation We are just a 10-minute walk from the Brookland Metro (Red Line). There is also a Bike Share + several bus lines (G8, 80, and H1-H4) nearby. The neighborhood has permit parking, and a permit comes with the room for free. LocationRestaurants We're close to Catholic University, Washington Hospital & Children's National Medical Center, the Monroe Street Market, and the Dance Place.
