This home is located in the cute cul-de-sac of Laguna Court, on Willow Lake. All interior rooms of the house have been, at a minimum, repainted and re-carpeted. The master bathroom has been gutted, creating a 8 foot deep by 4 foot wide walk in closet which is very unusual for houses of this age in Discovery bay, and not part of the original design (although it could have easily been so). The master bathroom has been "fixed" from the two-room oddity with a long cave-like feel to a very large single room with a new, large, 6 foot wide, two-person shower (human car wash) with 8 jets total with Carrera marble accents. In addition, because of the remodel, we are able to add a new bathtub. Both the master bath and the guest bath have new, espresso-colored cabinetry with linen cabinets, with two new Kohler surface-mount vessel sinks in each and new bathroom fans. The ample den now has a closet by a simple change of moving the location of a door for an odd hallway closet that was 4 feet deep. The den can now effectively be considered a bedroom as it now has a very large closet, heating, windows and a door. The most important feature of this house, despite the almost completely new, updated feel of the interior is the deck on the lake. The lakefront view from this property is nearly unmatched anywhere else in Discovery bay for privacy. This is due to the unique location on the cul-de-sac and the small island opposite the house within Willow Lake. When looking out the living room window, all you see is lake and island. No houses are visible. You can see houses on the opposite side of the lake, but because of the distance, you don't feel crowded. It isn't possible to see neighbors to your left or right, except for the edge of their decks, because of the circular shape of the street. With nearly all-day sun, thanks to the South-Western exposure, beautiful views of Willow Lake and the mountains in the distance (even some windmills are visible) you feel very relaxed and feel like you're on a vacation in another state, and not in the Bay Area.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
