Looking to rent out a room in my 3bdrm, 2ba, 2100sqft house to a responsible grad student or young professional. The room is available immediately (8/1/24) for a year-long lease. The house is in a safe, quiet neighborhood within 5 miles of UT's campus with off-street parking and convenient access to Alcoa Hwy. The room is currently furnished but this can be removed if needed. The rest of the house and kitchen are mostly furnished but willing to move some things around if you have furniture you can't part with. Rent is $900. I pay for garbage pickup, security system, and lawn care; you'd split utilities (water, electricity, internet) and share a bathroom with the other tenant, a 27ish year old male who is currently in law school. It will primarily be you two in the house. Bedrooms have been updated and the house is clean, spacious, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. This is a non-smoking property. Strongly prefer no pets, but will consider on a case by case basis. Non-smoking property. Applicants will have to undergo a background check.
