This is the historic Cadieux farmhouse, built in 1850 by the Cadieux brothers. It is the last remaining example of French frame architecture from Grosse Pointe and Detroit‘s ribbon farm era. Restored by the Grosse Pointe Historical Society in 1991, and saved again in 2014. The home was moved to its present location and fully restored, adding a beautiful wraparound porch, hot tub deck, and multiple plantings.
