    What's special

    Double Lot on curved street of .43 acres. Closest house is 25 feet from our garage, and all other houses are 60 feet or further from our house/garage. Surrounded by 30 feet of yard, and then original northern woodlands. We put a beautiful new retaining wall in during 2011, and widened the driveway by 9 feet to include a spot to park our 24 foot boat. Driveway was totally redone at that same time, along with a new patio by the home. From 2010 to 2012 the deck was refurbished and updated, and we also added a stairway and landing to it. Also done were many updates in the kitchen and bathrooms, all new appliances and water heater, a new energy star metal roof, and many other updates. We have a stone fireplace on an interior wall surrounded by built in walnut bookcases and cabinets. This was built as a passive solar house and we think it was an Edison Electric house with super insulation, and many other energy-saving features such as the double pane windows, 4.5 ft. roof overhang, south and west facing major windows, and many deciduous trees surrounding the house to shield from the sun in the summer and let it thru in colder seasons. This is a very unique and well thought out mid-century, modern home.
