Sapphire Cottage, the quintessential Florida bungalow, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and can sleep six adults. Front entry is by way of a bright enclosed Florida room with sitting area. You're drawn into the large living room with an original nine foot painting in the tradition of the famed Sarasota School. The designer sofa allows watching the 50" 4K TV very comfy. Sharing the room is the dining area. The substantial second bedroom with queen bed and convenient bathroom, are well situated away from the Master Suite. Beautifully finished pine floors throughout. Central air conditioning and heat, and of course FAST 2G WiFi. The eat-in kitchen with vaulted ceilings and over-sized farm style sink, has all the modern stainless appliances you expect; new fridge, gas stove, dishwasher. A custom stained glass window and handcrafted open shelves enhance the Cottage feeling. There's a pub height counter with stools. The backdoor leads to your own tropical paradise with a large deck, complete with an outdoor table and chairs for six, perfect for al fresco dining. Newly installed, large screened-in pavillion . The gorgeous Master Bedroom Suite includes an enormous king size bed, huge lockable closet and blends into the master bath replete with vintage claw-foot tub and glass block walls which separates the large shower. Surrounded by lush bamboo trees, the yard sweeps you into your own mini jungle, with outdoor shower, includes fruit trees, creating privacy and separation from the City's buzz, yet you're only a few minutes' walk to Main Street. Sapphire Cottage was originally built in 1926 and thoughtfully updated in 2000 and makes a wonderful base to host friends and family during your vacation getaway. Several magazine pictorials have been published about its character and appeal. The Cottage is very open and light filled.
