    In the late 1600s, Theophilus Whaley came to the coastal plains region of Virginia and acquired land. Sounds like the start of a great novel. Tasteful built-in bookshelves seem to be around every corner, and you’re convinced: This is enough house for you. All that’s left is to wander the more than ten acres to get a feel for this property. Financing options? No problem, the owner can offer an easy 30-year mortgage with no closing costs to get you in before Christmas.
