    Entire second floor of beautiful 1876 home in downtown Charleston. Amazing location, located at one of the highest points of Charleston, so flooding is never an issue, even when half of downtown is underwater. Your own private off street parking spot, outdoor utility closet (shared with landlord) great for bikes or beach stuff. your own PRIVATE back yard (rare find for downtown rental). Original wood floors throughout, 14ft ceilings, huge windows (and a ton of them) and a giant walk in closet. We are a couple so we have used the space more as a one bedroom, but bathroom has points of entry from two of the rooms making it an easy transition into a second bedroom. This apartment was one of the main factors in our decision to move to Charleston, let it do the same for you. Church bells are audible daily but at the perfect distance not to be annoying. Great sun drenched space to work from home, or easily within biking/walking distance to downtown, King Street, grocery store, restaurants, bars, post office, etc. Washer and Dryer, Dish washer, Garbage disposal, Huge Fridge, Gas stove/oven, central heat and AC. Awesome breakfast nook/study space. Small dogs and cats accepted with a pet deposit. Storage spaces above entry closet and laundry room for extra stuff you want out of the way. The current lease runs through July 31st, 2022, but you will have the option to resign when that time comes. This was slightly high for our budget when we moved in but we are so glad we did. Proximity to everything made it entirely worth it, downstairs neighbor is landlord and they use it as an office, so you are essentially living alone in a historic Charleston single. Come check it out for yourself Owner pays water and gas, electric bill (depends on usage) but typically ranges from $140-225. One off street parking spot is included. Pets are accepted with a pet deposit.
