This is a loft space and best described as a live/work space. It was originally an old store. It is fairly rustic in design and I originally built the loft as a set for a TV show and then I lived in it for 15 years. It is a perfect space for a creative person working in art, photography, film, music, fashion, set design, etc. The photos are from when I lived in there to show the potential of what it can look like. The loft comes unfurnished. The official lease is in my name so I am renting it out for a year at a time while I am working in another state. Even though it comes unfurnished, there are some things available for use, such as a large steel industrial kitchen table, large desk, dresser, shelving, fridge, small oven, A/C and some other misc kitchen appliances and lamps. These items can be seen in the photos. There is currently a washing machine but not a dryer. There is a laundry facility directly across the street however. Also available for use are tools and ladders that are in the storage room and a vacuum, industrial mop and cleaning supplies. The space is on the ground floor with street access right outside the front door. There is no dedicated parking spot unfortunately, but generally a parking space can be found outside or close by. The entrance into the loft is through a shared lobby entrance. The lobby is shared by only one other unit which is my back office that I use whenever I am in town a few weekends of the year. So basically, the lobby can also be used by you as a storage or living/creative work space as well. Since the loft was designed as a shooting space, there are no windows looking to the street. The only windows are in the kitchen facing the back patio area. If you are interested in the space, it is very helpful if you already have a credit check, verified employment/income listed in your renters profile. This moves you ahead of others who are interested. Please note: The unit is for the renter(s) personal and professional use only, and only those listed on the lease may live in the space. It cannot be rented out for parties, events or as a shooting space for other people. And it absolutely cannot be used as an airbnb. Tenant is responsible for electric bill. This generally runs from $150.00 - $200.00 a month, depending on usage. The security deposit is for 1 months rent plus $200 for electric bill overages. As long as unit is kept in same condition as when rented, security deposit will be returned.
