The neighbors are friendly and helpful, and the grounds are very well-kept. The neighborhood backs to Lake Royal, a picturesque, park-like area that has well-maintained walking trails and excellent opportunities for both birding and observing animal life. I've seen many Virginia songbirds there, and there's a very handsome blue heron who frequents the area. We've even seen bald eagles!
