Next door to the historic Woolworth Estate, Welwyn, a 204 acre nature preserve with numerous trails and a stretch of the Long Island Sound are less than 5 miles away. A 42 acre accredited arboretum, Bailey's Arboretum is another site of notable mention. The North and South Fork are popular destinations as day trips as well as Shelter Island. Whether it be touring the wineries or the Hamptons, or a trip to NYC, it all can begin here. The cottage is steps away from the Long Island Railroad.
