Atherton is a lovely, highly desirable neighborhood in Silicon Valley. Most neighborhoods have a minimum of one acre lots. The town is totally residential with no multifamily homes or retail within the town borders. There is a wonderful park near by, a town library, gorgeous tree lined streets, and an ambiance hard to find in the bay area. The proximity to Stanford, major employment, and transportation centers is also a real plus!
