Large backyardTree-lined streetBathrooms on each floorFreestanding houseLovely porch

ABOUT We're renting out our classic Portland charmer, a 1910 home that has been nicely updated. This is a freestanding house with a lovely porch and large backyard on quiet street with friendly neighbors in one of Portland's best neighborhoods. Two bedrooms are upstairs, including the primary bedroom, which has an adjoining bonus room (set up as TV room). The third bedroom is a daylight basement studio with a separate entrance. The yard has an amazing 200-square-foot detached gym equipped with premium free weights, barbells, and more. It could be used as an office or other flex space. LEASE We're looking for a medium term lease of somewhere between 6 and 10 months. We've left Portland for a higher education program, but we'll be back later next year. As such, the house is entirely furnished and stocked (bedding, kitchen supplies, etc.). We're looking for someone who is looking for a furnished home for a fixed period. DESCRIPTION With bathrooms on each floor and one of the bedrooms downstairs, the home's setup offers a variety of living options. The upstairs bedrooms have a king bed in the primary room and a double bed in the second room. The third bedroom (king-sized bed) is located in our daylight basement and has its own bathroom, kitchenette, seating area, and separate entrance. It's a great space for a family member who wants some extra privacy, or it can be used as an office or a private space for visiting guests. The kitchen is large, modern, and fully stocked with appliances, plates, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils. The separate dining room can seat up to eight, and the living room connects to a foyer, which has a bar. The front porch is large and is great for people-watching in the summer. The large yard in back has an 8-person dining table and a 4-person lounge area around a fire pit. There's a separate, detached gym in the yard that could be used as a separate work space. NEIGHBORHOOD Walker's and biker's paradise! With its quiet residential streets and lively main drags, the Alberta Arts District is considered by many to be one of the city's best neighborhoods. Our home is centrally located to the best of Northeast, on a tree-lined street that is close to main corridors that offer easy access the rest of the city. Right in the heart of the Alberta Arts district, the home is steps to the best dining and entertainment in Northeast: Vegan Row, Hat Yai, Salt & Straw ice cream, the Alberta Rose Theater, and much more. Alberta Park is two short blocks away. Daily essentials are accessible by foot and on bike. Also easy access to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Providence Portland Medical Center, Community Resource And Referral Center (Crrc), and Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, as well as University of Oregon Portland (Concordia). Things to note: - Utilities are all included (gas, electricity, water, and trash/recycling) - High-speed internet is included - The house is equipped with central heat (gas) and air conditioning (heat pump). - A gardener cares for the yard, though we'll ask the tenants to please water the yard during the warm months. - Available starting August 30 - We're looking for a fixed lease term, somewhere between 6 and 10 months. - $40 screening fee (only for an accepted applicant) - All utilities and high-speed internet are included in the cost of rent (~$400 value). - The property is entirely furnished. We're unable to remove furniture and don't have space to accept new furniture except very small pieces. - We have kept some private effects stored on the property but have cleared plenty of space for you. - Primary bedroom mattress is new and other mattresses are in great condition. -Daylight basement suite with separate entrance can be used as a flexible guest suite, home office, or multigenerational space. -Save money on a gym membership! Separate premium gym in the backyard for your private use (could be used as an office space)
