The Manzanita Grove vacation rental is a 3 bedroom/2 bath chalet that features a very open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining room open to one another and rock fireplace. The cabin has been nicely remodeled with wood floors, updated kitchen and bathrooms, and tasteful furniture appointments. In the summer, guests can enjoy the expansive front deck area and the property is within walking distance to Waterman's Landing Cafe & Beach (dog friendly), the great breakfast spot The Old Post Office Cafe, Magic Carpet mini golf, and Carnelian Bay. In the winter, the cabin is centrally located to Northstar California, Alpine Meadows, and Palisades Tahoe. All Agate Bay Realty vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with streaming services, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. The $1500.00 deposit will be applicable to the first month's rent. The $3000 will be refundable at the end of the lease provided there isn't any damage or extra cleaning. A four month ski lease will have 3 free housekeeping visits. Each visit is a total of two man hours of cleaning and will help keep the kitchen, bathrooms, and house maintained during the lease. $300 a month total for the fixed utilities. This $300 a month pays for the water, trash, sewer, cable tv, and high speed internet service. A four month lease would have a total of $1200.00 (4 x $300) for the fixed utilities. The gas and electric will be switched into the tenants name at the start of the lease. The bills will be sent directly to the tenant. Frozen pipes will be the responsibility of the tenants if the thermostat was left lower than 55 degrees or turned off. There will be a $200 service fee charged by Agate Bay Realty if utilities are not transferred into the tenants name when the lease takes effect. We will send multiple reminders. $800 for driveway snow removal. Half the rent is due 60 days prior to arrival (November 2, 2026) and the other half is due prior to move-in (by January 2, 2027).
