PRICE DROP! Really hoping to have new humans by October 1. Did I mention that I'm pretty big? Hello, My name is...well don't I actually have a name. People around here call me Sandpoint because that is where I am located. I've been around a long time too. I was built in 1956. Just after WWII when they were still using real materials to build with. I recently had a lovely family live in me for 15 years! They were great but after 15 years things happen to a space so my owners (Dan and Monica- lovely people) decided to give me a make-over. Every inch has been scraped, cleaned, replaced, fixed or painted. They realized that under that old carpet were the original oak floors so they brought them out to shine. Wow, I haven't been fondled like this since the last Boeing Bust. Now, I'm not saying I'm perfect, but child, who is at my age. If you are looking for perfection you should check out one of those 300 sf paper boxes they are just now building. Me, I'm all plaster and real hardwood floors and if anything is plastic it's the plastic from The Graduate era. You can see the pictures here. See the window in the East Bedroom. That's 10' of window! Is that even legal now? With our grey Seattle winter coming you are going to be so happy with all these windows. I also have a 20' long private, covered balcony. Of course. The whole thing looks out over the Burke Gilman trail and a rotten amount of greenery. And there's a legit dining area - no "eat in kitchen" for me. Don't mind the mess at the floor. I'm getting crisp new baseboards here. Even as we speak my humans are working on me. And here's just a peek at my bathroom. I'm getting new paint and something they call a "dual flush toilet". It gives you two options for your flush so you save water and the Earth! What will they think of next? And yes, those are pink tiles. I also have a pink sink and pink tub. In my day, we called this Power Pink. It was a color for the truly sophisticated. Don't over-look the large storage room in the basement that I come with. Enough space for all your bikes I know you want to take out on the BG trail. It's right there with the building laundry room. So, if you are interested in a vintage girl with lots of sass give us a call. Dan and Monica are available to show me off anytime. Newly renovated bathroom New kitchen countertops.
