The town of Banner Elk offers a beautiful mountain retreat with access to the conveniences of larger metropolitan areas. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just six miles away, and Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is a 30-minute drive. Smoking is not allowed. People other than those in the guest's party designated in the reservation may not stay overnight at the property. Quiet hours begin at 10 pm, as some neighbors live full-time nearby.
