    What's special

Private bathroomCommunity hot tubLarge community poolCentral heating and acLarge in-unit laundry machinesPrivate bedroom

One private bedroom and private bathroom within a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo that's less than a mile from the 5 freeway and less than a mile and a half from the Oceanside Pier and beach. It's on a street called Lands End Way in Oceanside, California. The rental is for one unfurnished private bedroom, one private bathroom, and one assigned off-the-street parking space in addition to common area usage of the living room and kitchen (including storage space in the kitchen and in the refrigerator/freezer). The condo features large in-unit laundry machines, central heating and AC, high-speed WiFi, and access to a shared Netflix account. You would also have access to the small community fitness center, the large community pool (which is heated for about 4 or 5 months of the year), the community hot tub (which is heated year-round), and the community tennis court. The condo will be shared with a recently married couple living in the master bedroom. All utilities included, though additional charges possible for excessive Heating/AC/Data/Electricity usage (like if you insist on leaving the central heating on all night every night, or you download more than 650 gigabytes per month, or you use 200% of the electricity used by prior tenants, somewhat extreme stuff) The lease excludes pets and smoking in the condo. It also designates the rental room as being for one occupant only. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend that would stay over some or even most weekends (or a few nights per week most weeks) that's fine as long as there is no screaming or craziness, but this rental is mainly for one person and the agreement would be broken if you try to move in a second occupant without prior approval and an amendment to the rental agreement. About your potential future roommates: Me: I'm 46 years old, I got a master's degree in Philosophy, I'm a decent chess player, and I'm trying to learn Spanish (and a bit of Tagalog). I'm not anti-Republican (I'm a centrist), but I am anti-Trump. I just recently married my wife, and things have been great between us so far. My wife: She's 37 years old, she's from the Philippines, she's very smart, and she's fluent in English (and Tagalog, Bisayan, and Matigsalug). She is currently waiting for her Green Card and work authorization. Us: I work on the Swing shift and tend to arrive home around 11PM (occasionally later when I work overtime). She usually cooks until about this time and we eat in the living room until about midnight. We can be out of there at that time if you work in the morning, but it is likely we'll be in the living room watching TV until about midnight on a regular basis which definitely can be heard from the room that's for rent. We tend to keep the place clean and not too cluttered, and would expect the same from you.
