DETAILS: The space "Pradito" is a delightful 21st-century remodel of a 20th-century adobe casita with a 2nd floor loft. The thick white plastered adobe walls contrast with the modern 14-foot high ceiling of the salon, with skylight and Italian mini-staircase to the loft. Modern fixtures include electric heat/cooling (as well as a wood-burning stove for toasty, winter evenings!), LED lighting, a ceiling fan, two TVs with Roku, and good internet (mesh Wi-Fi). The kitchen includes an induction hot plate, pots/pans, dish/flat/glass-ware, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, toaster oven, full sizes sink & fridge with ice maker. The bathroom has an electric heating panel to keep you warm. The loft features a queen-sized bed, with a warm south view of the 'bosque' and a small closet. On the ground floor is a double/full-size foldout couch that sleeps 2. In winter, the toasty wood stove can keep you warm til the morn'; or just use the remote to control the electric heat / HVAC. Awaken to the cheery south-facing sun. Dine inside or at your private patio table for morning coffee, an afternoon cocktail, or a glass of wine at sunset. A hot tub in the entry patio is available year-round. The entry pathway (see photo) is a natural garden with native grasses and aspen trees. "Pradito" means little meadow in Spanish. Completely furnished ("turnkey"). Plenty of free on-street parking (city parking permit provided - place on your dashboard but remember to leave it in the unit when you depart!). Other things to note LOFT ACCESS AND HEIGHT LIMITATIONS Important Note: The Italian stairway was designed for loft apartments in Europe and is steep, 24" narrow, and is recommended for weights under 300 lbs., intended for agile users only. The Loft ceiling is low (5'10" on the left/north side and 5'4" on the right/southside) due to city height restrictions of 14' for the main/salon ceiling. We also provide full bedding for the fold-out sofabed on the ground floor if you cannot safely or comfortably access the loft. Please ensure you are aware of these limitations before booking. PETS ALLOWED Normally, we allow pets (1 dog or 1 cat) with a supplemental cleaning fee of $50/mo. No pets are allowed on fabric furniture or bedding without pet blankets (we provide one blanket); dogs require kennel at night. FIREWOOD We provide enough for two fires per stay. Beyond that, you may purchase firewood at the grocery store nearby. LONGER TERM STAYS - INTERIM CLEANING If staying over two weeks, we offer an interim cleaning by engaging our cleaner (contact info provided upon request).
