This is an absolutely excellent property all the way around! To start with there's a nice cabin that's set up with propane lights, propane cookstove. Also, a wood stove to heat the place. On one end is the kitchen and dining area, on the other is the sleeping area set up to sleep 10 with the 5 bunks. From the cabin, there are trails leading to various areas on the south side of the creek. There are several great-looking spots for deer on this side of the creek one of which is a tower stand that sits overlooking a meadow on one side a beautiful cleared shooting lane on the other side. Both the cleared shooting lane and the field would be excellent locations for food plots!! Getting to the north side of the creek there's a nice bridge crossing the creek that leads through pretty much the whole northern part of the property all the way to the east then to the north. This creek would give great access to hunt prevailing winds allowing the deer that may slip in from the north to not smell you coming in and out. Also, the trail doubles as great grouse hunting as well as easy access to jump shoot ducks in the creek and various small beaver ponds not far off of it. While on this property I saw lots of deer sign, flushed grouse, as well as some ducks when I poked my head into a couple of beaver pond areas. The property would also be great for bear. Trapping opportunities would be excellent with the mix of the creek, beaver ponds, trails, timber, and meadows. There are also thousands of acres of public lands in the area. Tax forfeit lands sit along the east border. The property is a mix of high and low ground. Also a great mix of aspen, spruce, fir, and a few other tree species. The property is currently enrolled in the SFIA (sustainable forest incentive program) until 2025. The property is also in a top-notch fishing area being located between Blackduck, Island, Winnibigoshish, Red, Cass Lake, and many other excellent lakes in the area!
