Our lovely house sits right across the end of Oppenheim park. Our lot is deeper than most lots in Ferndale, and is approx. 250 feet deep. Thus, it's like we only have two neighbors. The neighborhood itself is quiet. The neighbors are friendly. There is occasional traffic on St. Louis, but it is rarely noticeable. From our house, it takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the corner of 9 Mile and Woodward. Once there, you can easily shop til you drop, get a bite to eat, or relax and have a frosty beverage.
