Up for sale is a resort that includes a 2 bd home, and 9 rental units.. These are like motel rooms but are separate buildings. All cabins have refridges and microwaves and the kitchenettes are stocked with cookware, stoves, dishes, silverware etc. There's also 2 storage buildings, picnic tables, horseshoe pit, campfire pit and bar-b-q grills. This area has beaches, (1 block away) fishing, boating, nature trails, canoeing, biking, and sight seeing. We're on US 23 about 1-1/2 mile north of downtown Oscoda. The singles (2) are small cabins with one double bed, doubles (2) have 2 double beds. The kitchenettes: (2) have one double bed, (1) has a single bed and a double bed, and (2) have 2 double beds. The house has 2 large bedrooms, a large living room kitchen combination a bath with tub and washer and dryer. It is also semi furnished. One storage unit is about 8X12' the other was a kitchenette unit the former owner used as the office but turned it into storage. It's also our main utilities unit where the main electrical panel and well come in. All units have a tv and various size refridges along with microwaves. The kitchenettes have full size refridges, table and chairs, stove, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, coffee makers, toasters etc. Lake Huron access is about a block away. Since we've owned the place we've put around $25,000 in electricaI (the whole complex was on one 60 amp box) a new well about 5 years ago, and upgraded a lot of the furniture. We live in the home next to the resort and have our office here. If someone bought the resort we would give them the option to buy the house also but would need a reasonable amount of time to find another home. We have a one car garage and a 24X44 garage that was built in such a way that 2 apartments could be built on the second level. The first level has 10' walls and the second 8'. I would consider a land contract. This is a great chance to be in business for yourself, get out of the rat race of the city and live in God's country up north. My wife and I have opperated this place for 20 years and want to retire and do some traveling so we decided to put the resort on the market.
