It has a refrigerator with ice and water filtration, a garbage disposal in the sink, electric stove/oven and microwave, new dishwasher, a laundry center in-unit, a large private porch, multiple garden beds you can make use of as you will (or leave them alone, lawn maintenance is included in the rent), and a shared side yard where you can host reasonably well-behaved parties. Water and trash collection are included in the rent. Electricity, internet and cable service will be your responsibility. The location is excellent: one of New Orleans' safest neighborhoods. The house is four blocks from shopping and dining on Harrison Avenue and the location has virtually zero street traffic. It's also convenient, with easy access to the Pontchartrain Expressway, I-10, I-610, and Veterans Blvd. A 10-minute drive will bring you to the corner of Loyola and Poydras, and a 14-minute drive will have you in the Armstrong Airport parking garage. Meanwhile, a 10-minute bike ride would take you either to the lake, or to City Park and the Fairgrounds. Rent includes: water, trash/recycling collection, lawn maintenance. Other utilities are paid for by tenant. Leases of shorter duration than one year are negotiable. Leases under three months, however, are not available. Pets may involve an additional deposit, depending on the type of pet.
