Hello! I'm looking to find a tenant to live in the first floor apartment of my house. I live upstairs with my two kids, ages 6 & 9. We have a wonderful set up with chickens, a big yard, a back patio. The apartment is sweet with a new shower and kitchen, as well as wood paneling and a cozy gas fireplace. The area is a great place to live - tons of access to the outdoors, close to Portland, Lewiston, Brunswick, and the ocean. I'd love to find like-minded people who like being around kids (though they won't be in your space), willing to help out, and want to be part of a home. Here's a little more about the place. We share parking, a patio, electricity, internet, and laundry. The apartment is one large living space in a finished basement. There's a gas fireplace (very cozy in winter!), wooden paneling, and ample storage space. There is a newly renovated kitchen with counter tops, sink, mini-fridge (though open to buying a bigger one), and a place to put cooking appliances. There is laundry on site that we share, and a bathroom with a shower. The patio is fun for hanging out and grilling, and a garden and orchard that are beautiful. Someone who is handy and/or can babysit kids is a plus as we could work out some work in exchange for rent if that's something you're interested in.
