Kohala Ranch Meadows Ranch House is a 60-minute drive from Kailua-Kona, including Kona International Airport, Costco, Kona Community Hospital, Kailua-Kona VA Clinic, and more. Bring your binoculars and snorkel gear! There are amazing local beaches, stargazing after sunsets, and more... everything you need to experience a comfortable escape to the meadows. Our property is a 30-minute drive to Kohala Hospital, Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital, and clinics. Adjacent to the property is the Kohala Coast, with spectacular beaches to snorkel or SUP and remarkable sunsets while you unwind on the sandy beaches. ~ Comfortable and Classy ~ Our cozy and comfortable guesthouse adjoins the garage with a washer/dryer. The ground level one bedroom guesthouse is a separate domicile across from the main house. It features one large room with a queen bed, a smart TV for streaming, and a well-stocked kitchen with a toaster oven/air fryer, hot plate, drip coffee maker, sink, and mini fridge/freezer. The guest house has a private bath with a shower and towels. Soap and a hair dryer are supplied. Extended range high-speed Internet is provided. Outside of the guesthouse is a large lanai with a gas grill. A large gathering area surrounds the lanai with seating choices. The view of Maui Islands Haleakala and sunsets from the patio is fantastic! Relax and unwind with meadow and Haleakala views during morning coffee, when the sun goes down, or under the stars with a favorite beverage. The Kohala Ranch is a secure gated community with a security guard at the main entrance. There is limited parking for guests. There is parking for vehicles at the guest house. This is a ranch in a rural location. Common sounds you may hear are neighborhood livestock, turkeys, horses, wild birds, and a host of other noises associated with nature and life on a mountain ranch. ~ Surf Boards Not Required: Outdoor Enthusiasts' Paradise ~ The appeal of our one-bedroom guesthouse is not limited to sunset and beaches. The setting is lovely for nature lovers who enjoy hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing, or just a retreat to the mountains to restore their inner peace. Trails of all levels for hikers/bikers and horses connect to our property. Binoculars and cameras are a must! It is not an appropriate rental for anyone interested in hunting. Owner pays all utilities. This is a minimum six-month lease. The property is shared. Plenty of storage.
