Brendonwood is a beautiful neighborhood that is privately maintained. It contains a golf course, tennis courts and pool, along with a common house where the neighborhood meets to celibrate July 4 and Labor Day every year with a neighborhood picnic. There are 108 lots in Brendonwood, which are all 1.5 - 2.0 acres each. It was created in 1925 as an experimental living arrangement that allowed urban dwellers a rural home setting. In 2003, the neighborhood was added to the federal historical society.
