Hi, Everyone. I have a fully furnished room available in my end-unit townhome in wonderful Jefferson Manor. Full bed with mattress, two dressers, night stand, desk, chair, smart TV, mini-fridge, and microwave. All you would need are towels, pillows, and linen. Month to Month lease, short-term lease, or 12 month lease accepted. The room is in the basement, is large (14.5'x18.5'), comes with its own private bathroom, has a private entrance, has a gas fireplace, is directly across the hall from the laundry room (no stairs to do laundry!), and as you can see from the pictures, gets plenty of natural light. It really feels more like a first floor primary bedroom than a basement room. It stays cool in the summer, and the fireplace keeps it warm in the winter when needed. Other than my gym and the laundry room, you'd have the basement to yourself. Nice and private. The kitchen is upstairs, and you're welcome to use it on a limited basis. I'm in my 40s and I live on the top two floors. I'm pretty chill, except for when my team is playing (Go Duke!). I'd love to find someone that is easy to get along with, but also enjoys their privacy. I'd prefer someone who doesn't work from home as I work from home full-time. The house is a 7-10 minute walk to the Huntington Metro (yellow line). Great for someone who works in Old Town, Springfield, Crystal City, or near the Pentagon. It's also a quick commute down to Fort Belvoir from here. The Patent Office is a 25-30 minute walk. We have a post office, a 7-11, and few restaurants a 5-7 minute walk away, including a Bob and Edith's diner. A wegman's, walmart, and target are within a 5 minute drive. I'm looking for someone clean, responsible, and respectful to move in. I own the place, and I take great pride in and care of the home. Looking for someone who will treat it as they would their own home, please. No smoking and no drugs. I would rather no pets, too. Month to month leases are welcome. $1175 refundable deposit. All utilities and internet will be split evenly. In the alternative, I could do a flat-fee of $100 for all utilities and internet, bringing the total to $1275 each month. $50 credit and background check required.
