Windcrest is an incorportated city on the edge of San Antonio, Texas. It has both an award winning volunteer fire department and police department. The city maintains its own swimming pool, tennis courts, and golf course as well as a well equiped community center which is also available to the public upon appointment. Roosevelt High School is a National Ribbon School that is approaching the final phase of a major replacement of every campus building which includes a public library. In 2009, a full service YMCA facility will open with in walking distance.
