This is an original Eastlake Victorian build in 1876 by the owner of the local lumber mill for his family. The 8-foot tall double front doors from the front porch open to a large foyer with a grand walnut staircase and the rooms have 11 foot ceilings. The downstairs woodwork is walnut with butternut woodwork on the second floor. The large 8-foot windows in the three front rooms provide great view and lots of light. All the original Victorian hardware remains throughout the house. There is also a servants staircase in the original servants halls in the center of the house that connect to all the rooms on both floors.
