We are located just above Muir Woods, near the Mountain Home Inn, and only a half a mile from the Alice Eastwood trail head. You'll love my house because of its close proximity to incredible hiking, biking, and views. Muir Woods is less than 10 minutes down the hill. Charming downtown Mill Valley and the Dipsea Trail Head is a 10 minutes drive. Sausalito center is 25 minutes away. The West Point Inn is a wonderful destination for a very easy and pleasant hike up the 3% railroad grade with amazingly beautiful mountain views of the ocean, the bay, and the city - right from our front door! "Head north beyond San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge, to the sublime setting of Marin County. This is a prime spot for outdoor enthusiasts, who will never want to go indoors. Take a winding drive into the region's mountains to visit Muir Woods National Monument. An easy hike through towering redwoods -- that range in age from 400-800 years old -- will leave you breathless.
