an adorable 2nd floor bedroom in a lovely home. we rent two private bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The renters will share a kitchen/living space (on the first floor) and share a bathroom. All rooms are fully furnished! (shared spaces are shared by two people, women only). The rented portion of the home has its own entrance and parking area. The home is located in a small town within walking distance to our local co-op, post office, gas station, hardware store and the community park in in our back yard! Brooks is a 15 to 20 min. drive to Belfast and the coast, 40 min. to Bangor, Waterville, 45min. to Camden or Augusta. We offer a very peaceful and safe living environment. My husband and I reside in a portion of the house that is private. I work from home as a fiber artist, my studio is a private room in the rented area of the house so I do use that room most days along with our dog who is very friendly (he follows me everywhere). The rental would be ideal for a single women who enjoys a beautiful, peaceful environment, that is smoke free drama free, and that is comfortable with a dog. To maintain a pleasant space for everyone we also ask that no strong fragrances be used, such as candles ect.. no smoking, no strong fragrances, no overnight guests without prior notification/approval. My husband and I are up beat, peaceful, respectful people who enjoy art, nature, and music. We keep to ourselves and live in a separate private part of the home. We maintain the yard, home repairs, snow removal and trash removal. We would like to rent this room to a woman who is also peaceful, respectful and values serenity. As far as the shared spaces are concerned cleanliness is very much appreciated to maintain a pleasant environment for both of the women renters. My art studio is located on the second floor, I use this space daily, our dog does accompany me while I work so you would need to enjoy a dog greeting you from time to time (he is very friendly).
