Former U of Iowa student trying to find a sublet. My apartment will be available starting September 1, 2018 (possibly sooner if needed) as I have to move for an internship. It has washer/dryer in unit, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dishwasher, large balcony deck (fits 6 burner grill, hammock, porch swing +more), and a 1 car garage (stays hot during winter). I'm a savvy shopper and when moving here 3 years ago it was the best deal and after looking around I find it still is for everything offered. The building itself was built only 4 years ago, the landlords have been fantastic to me every step of the way, and I've never had issues with noise from other tenants (I swear these walls are concrete, because I don't hear anything). Pets are a $250 deposit, but I will cover it if you move in. Rent is $995 per month and there will be a $995 deposit (negotiable depending on how early you move in). Utilities not included, they range between $125-160 per month so total with two people living here it would be around $625 each per month for rent and all utilities/internet. Tiffin is about 15 minutes (with traffic) from downtown IC to go to the University, about 5-7minutes to the Coral Ridge mall, 25 to Cedar Rapids. It's pretty centralized and I can give you shortcuts if you would like to know of certain areas. Each applicant will need a background check.
