Welcome to my little Opera Plaza sanctuary/condo. The condo is nestled in the heart of the city and is a short walk to all the restaurants, performing arts, or vibrant neighborhoods you could dream of. And yet, still managing to be completely quiet, sirene, and teeming with luxurious amenities such as a heated pool, gym, courts, and security. The inside is fully refinished and decorated in the spirit of a French boutique hotel. mixing wooden antiques with modern colorful touches and plenty of scattered art. the building: operaplaza the condo is in a building teeming with amenities : 24/7 security, heated pool, resident-only green spaces, hot tub, gym, racquetball court, basketball court, parking (not included in the price but available), concierge, cleaning services (also not included in the price).... architecturally speaking, it is a beton-brut complex with fine green spaces scattered all over. including a grand fountain foyer of an entrance. It blends perfectly with the Civic center complex which starts off beaux arts in city hall but fans out to modernist with the plaza and the symphony hall. it is kept extremely safe by roving security guards. the neighborhood: I would call this the heart of the city. we are located just steps from city hall, all the performing arts of the city: the ballet, the opera, the symphony, the jazz center, the conservatory of music, bill Graham auditorium... a short walk to the vibrant and elegant Hayes valley with all its fine restaurants and bars. a short walk in the opposite direction is Polk st which is another great and affordable dining destination. a short walk in another direction and you will be in Japantown or the ritzy Fillmore shopping/dining district. I would honestly say, you are a walk away from pretty much anywhere you want to go in the city (Union sq, castro, Valencia corridor, Fillmore corridor, Japantown...). and it is a hub for public transit too with access to all underground muni lines, bart, and a ton of bus lines. the condo: it has been completely remodeled in 2019. new bathroom, wood floors, office space, built-in shelves, kitchen... the decor is bright and airy, paying nods to various neighborhood gems such as the Opera house with the chandelier. you'll find plenty of original art on the walls and conversation furniture pieces here and there. All that said, I am happy to clear it for the right renter and time frame. the unit is in the center of the complex and doesn't face any streets. it's on the first floor of the residential towers which sit above the the street level restaurants and cinema and then above the 1st floor if businesses. so it's technically the 3rd floor above street level. me: I have lived in this condo for 3 years and miss it a ton. I left it exactly as it were in the hopes it'll be a home to you as much as it was for me. thanks and pls don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Best I have a standard lease that we can negotiate. I would pay the water and high speed internet. Renter pays for their electricity usage.
