West Miami is a very small city in the Miami Metropolitan area with its own city hall and police force. This makes the neighborhood safe and neighbors know each other and look out for each other. The city has sidewalks which makes it a great walking neighborhood for family and people with dogs. A new Publix opened last year about 1/2 mile away from the house. House is freshly painted outside and a new Miami-Dade county approved garage door was installed.. The flat portion of the roof is 3 years old. The air conditioner and hot water heater are 2 years old. The yard is planted with many native plant varieties and features a vegetable garden in the southeast back yard. A screened back porch provides a place to relax when the weather is nice.
