Imagine a warm spring morning listening to the roar of the James River while relaxing on one of your 3 outdoor spaces with views of Richmond’s downtown skyline, the rock falls, Oregon Hill, Tredegar, Mayo and Brown’s Island … you have the luxury of choosing between your rooftop terrace, master suite balcony or just sliding open the 16' tall glass wall in your living space. Life at 7 West is going to be decidedly different in both function and aesthetic. That’s because we dared to ask: Can industrial design be elegant? In urban settings, elegance has always been measured differently. So at 7 West, we sought to combine elements that are equally powerful, durable, simple and effective. Borrowing from the industrial history of Old Town Manchester, the project will incorporate a material and design palate with roots in Manchester’s past as a manufacturing hub. While doing so, modern elements are also readily apparent. Walls of glass, minimalist interior selections and an absence of pretense combine to blend Manchester’s industrial past with its progressive future. All of this within walking distance to the James River and downtown RVA. Industrial, Elegant, Connected… 7 West.
