Serene and private studio nestled among lush acres and surrounded by orchids, fruit trees, tropical landscaping and a small stream meandering through. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood, comprised of large estates and farm land, between the ocean and the sacred Makaleha mountains, 10 min away from downtown Kapaa and the beach. Experience the magic of Kauai with panoramic mountain views and after heavy rains you will see numerous waterfalls down the Makaleha mountain. The studio is located on the first floor of a 2 story cottage. It is clean, bright, airy and cozy with lots of windows and views of the lush rainforest around. The space has a wood floor and is decorated in Bali/Eastern style with beautiful wood carvings, tapestries and exquisite decorative details. The studio has a private entrance and parking, own screened-in lanai, kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. The sleeping area has a Queen size bed. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric stove top, electric kettle and blender. Guests share access to the washer/drier with the upstairs unit. We offer complimentary WiFi, which is the strongest offered in the area and great for remote work. The property has many fruit and aromatic plants including papayas, avocado, heliconia, kukui nut,coconut, friendly tulip, noni, orchids, strawberry guavas, plumeria, gingers, Ti plants and more. Guests are welcome to enjoy the fruits right off the trees! Surrounding the cottage is a large enclosed lawn area beyond which is natural and wild rainforest land. Just beyond the enclosed area are steps down to a small stream with a deck above. You can enjoy a book, tea or practice yoga/meditation on the deck, surrounded by lush green plants and enjoying the sounds of the birds and the stream below. The studio is perfect for those looking for a serene experience where you feel that you are in middle of the rainforest and one with nature, at the same time can enjoy modern amenities and proximity to the beach and downtown Kapaa, where you will find great restaurants, cafes, specialty shops and a locally made products fair.
