When people first visit our neighborhood, they often say, "I had no idea this street was here!" We're just inside the city limits, so we have the convience of city services, but the privacy of being "off the beaten path". There are 19 houses on this u-shaped street. There's no need for anyone to drive through our neighboorhood unless you live there, so the street is relatively quiet and safe for kids to play. Residents are primarily families with kids and retirees. Exit Katie lane and go south and you can enjoy a peaceful walk down a gravel road past fields and woods on either side. I can't say enough about this neighborhood and my wonderful house; if I didn't have to move out of state, I think I'd never leave!
