It is a serene and well kept neighborhood. The Saint Therese Academy is located at the bottom of the hill, with very nice grounds. The Windmill Farm Market and small shopping is near by. San Diego State University is very closed too. There are several churches in the area specially Saint Therese Catholic Church and Enmanuel Church is there too.
