Once or twice a year I will rent out the third bedroom to someone looking for temporary housing. I will typically rent for 1-6 months. French doors open to your private room on your own level (split level home), and a private 3/4 bathroom furnished with a queen size bed, desk, and wardrobe. The bedroom has a big, outreached window that creates a ledge for sitting or as a shelf. The flooring and paint are new. Across from your bedroom is your private bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. The common area is the kitchen, living room, and outdoor spaces. Use whatever you need around the kitchen, any laundry detergents, household cleaners, and your bathroom will be stocked with the basics initially. The washer/dryer/steamer is located in your bathroom, and other than doing laundry occasionally, your bathroom is privately yours. There's a huge backyard. The property has lots of berry bushes, fruit trees, vines, and outdoor furniture. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood full of young families and working professionals. It's walking distance to Riverbend Ponds, and has access to Spring Creek Trail. I have one cat who is indoor/outdoor. I'd be open to your pet so long as it isn't a cat. I'll spend idle time in the yard or working on a project around the house, and am usually to bed by 9pm. I'm a single parent and my 1 young kiddo is in school/care when I work. We'll get along if you pick up after yourself in the common area and are generally comfortable around children. Lease is month-to-month, perfect if you need a temporary, welcoming place that feels like home. Rent is due on the 1st. When you're ready to move on, no 30-day notice just let me know before the next month starts, and your deposit covers that last month (no pro-rate). Stays are usually 2 to 6 months, sometimes 9 months. Proof of income and a background check are required.
