    What's special

House is fully furnished except for your room. The house is gigantic and we have 2 floors so there is plenty of room for you to bring whatever items! The 2 roommates are both in their mid 20's and have professional careers but still like to go out and have fun. We are looking for 1 roommate in a two-story 3-BR 2-BA unit in East Lakeview. The lease goes through September 31st (8-months remaining from February 1st). Our current roommate is relocating to a new apartment, which will make commuting to work in the suburbs easier. The room is $900/month with no utilities included; however, we do split utilities 3-ways so they end up anywhere between (Usually around $150, but up to $200 in hottest and coldest months). The landlord will also require one-month's rent as a refundable security deposit upon signing the lease. Our current roommate is moving into his new apartment on February 1st; however, there is some potential flexibility on the move-in date. This place is huge. There are two floors, the available bedroom resides on the main floor, which would also share a bathroom. Our place is furnished; however, there is plenty of space and we would entertain swapping things out or adding to what we already have depending on the furniture. Our landlord is great and actually lives in the upstairs unit, so it makes things very easy for paying rent and if there are any issues with the house. Location is close to the lake, and is very convenient with many shops and restaurants nearby. One of our favorite amenities is that is features in-unit washer/dryer. The major cross-streets of where we are located would be Belmont and Broadway; however, the house is south of Belmont. We are two straight males in our mid-twenties, who are open to having a male or female roommate move in. The apartment has been passed down through friends and we know everyone who has lived in it for the last 3 leasing cycles. Currently, our 3rd roommate is a guy; however, our previous roommate was a girl who moved out to live with her boyfriend when we re-signed our lease on October 1st. Prior to that, the tenants have all been guys. Ideally, we would find a roommate close to the same age-range, social, respectful of common areas, and willing to pitch in to keep the place looking nice, well-maintained, and comfortable. A bit about the other two roommates - we are both young-professionals in finance and marketing who are a few years removed from college. We are big sports fans - NFL, College Football, Blackhawks, Cubs, Golf, you name it - we love watching sports. Normally we are pretty low-key during the week, aside from the occasional wine night, but enjoy going out on the weekends. Any serious inquiries or further questions please reply to this posting. We are definitely interested in meeting anyone who may be interested, as I am sure any of you would like to meet us first as well. If you have a social media link you would be willing to share that could jump-start the process.
