We have in-floor hydronic heating and a heat pump for ductless summer AC and winter heating. The laundry room has ceramic tile flooring and functions as a mudroom with custom cabinetry. It has a large window to the north and a door with window lights to the east for light from two directions. The Living room has its own window bay with built in custom seating and storage, with timber joists overhead, heavy beams under the timbers and other custom touches. It looks to the south through large windows that open onto the 9' deep timber style porch. Both the dining and Living room have hinged swing-out windows from Milgard. All the windows are Milgard and swing out, except for a few windows that look out to the east and west on the 2nd floor, which are picture windows. The timber stairs are coupled to black iron risers that form deep treads up to the second floor - which is anchored on a north window that lights the stairwell. On the Second floor there is a generous bunk room area, a small bedroom for an older child, and a master suite with its own tiled bathroom, soaking tub, heated, tiled hexagonal porcelain flooring. It also has a walk in / walk through closet area framed inside of architectural arches. The Master Bedroom looks out to the valley below - with wonderful southern light, and also a view to the West, showing glimpses of the Cascades.
