Trying to replace a renter for one of the three rooms that we need to have occupied in the house. The room is empty now, so you could move in now or the almost universal Sep 1st date for Davis if that's better for you. There will be an application to rent the room. The owner might end up selling the house if the third room can't be rented or if a renter can't make rent, so we do have a vested interest in making sure you can afford the room. This listing is specifically for Bedroom 2 (105 sqft) on the floor plan with $800 rent. There is a bed and desk available for the room, but they can be removed if you have your own. The upstairs hall bathroom has two sinks and a tub shower dedicated to the renters in Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 in the floorplan. The person in Bedroom 1 gets up early for a commute, so there shouldn't be a problem sharing the bathroom in the mornings. Only two people will share that bathroom so that everyone has a chance to take a shower before work. Having three or more people trying to shower before work in the morning didn't always work out, so it's just two people. Someone with regular working hours is preferred so that everyone has a similar sleep schedule, getting up and going to bed around the same time. There is ample street parking in the Benbow Court cul-de-sac, and bike parking in the garage. The house is meant for a family, but only three people will live here. When you enter the house, you'll be off the living room with two-story ceiling and large television, which borders the dining room area. Walking to the kitchen area, there's ample counter and storage space for three people. Adjacent to the kitchen is the family room space with an electric fireplace. A half bath and interior laundry room are located off the family room. There is a neighborhood cat that we, and some of the other neighbors, feed. He's been an outdoor cat for years and is not compatible with living in a house. Some neighbors have tried.
