It is a big, 1925, five-bedroom, two-bathroom, family home located within easy walking distance to two parks (one with a splash pad!), and the YMCA. It is in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and downtown with easy access to Hwy 75. When my family of five lived in this quirky house with loads of character, we spent a lot of family time on the beautiful big porch. I often sent children out the back door to play in the safe, fenced backyard while I cooked supper in the country eat-in kitchen. For holiday meals with guests we used the separate dining room, and entertained in the homey, open living room with fireplace, built-in book cases and big windows. My husband was thrilled with the 426 sq foot detatched garage with plenty of space for his projects or cars. With five large bedrooms (and an extra "bonus room") we had plenty of space to spread out and it was wonderful having a "play room" so toys stayed out of the living room! The attic storage closets meant I could have as many Christmas decorations as I wanted! It's just the perfect home for children.
