Old but solid home in americas heartland. This house has survived the dust bowl, the Great Depression, prohibition, WW2 and the constant weather of Kansas. But this house stands strong, with no roof leaks and a decent insulation. At 76 degrees the electricity bill is less than $200 a month during summer. The basement is always a constant 72 degrees year round even with 2 feet of snow on the ground outside. I’m looking to trade this house for somewhere like Colorado, Missouri, Arizona, New Mexico , California, or Michigan.
