Owner of three bedroom condo rents out two bedrooms. This listing is for one bedroom, which includes full use of the common areas of the apartment, including laundry, living room and kitchen. The condo is in good condition, very quiet, and clean. The other two residents (owner, plus 1 tenant) are friendly and easy-going. Huge closet. Mini-fridge in your room, but you'd be welcome to use the kitchen as well. Ceramic tile flooring. No view from the bedroom - that end of the condo is set into a hill and the windows look out into a window well. As a result, there's almost no sound from outdoors - it's a little like living in a cave. The location is remarkable for its "walkability" and convenience. It's a five minute walk to: Kroger, Walgreens, Ace Hardware, Barnes & Noble, Lou & Harry's, Biggby, dry cleaner, salad bar, 20 restaurants, Redi-Care, CATA bus stop . . . . You can rent length of time fits your plans, based on the MSU semesters or whatever. In other words, you don't need to sign a lease for any specific length of time. There are two requirements, beyond being able to pay the rent and being a reasonably compatible housemate: 1) There are two very sweet, elderly dogs. So if you don't like dogs, it won't work. 2) The existing tenant wants to meet you, to make sure you're congenial. (They're congenial - I promise!) Tell me a little about yourself and your housing plans, and we'll get together. I'm open to whatever period of time works for you. I've never had trouble finding a tenant, so I don't worry about locking you into a long-term commitment. There's plenty of parking in surface lots. No smoking in the condo, of course. Guests are fine as long as they don't intrude on my tenant or myself.
