Our home is designated as a "double lot," meaning that one can build two houses on our property. Our woodwork throughout the house is 8" oak baseboards with original windows of same material. We refinished this woodwork in 1992 and it is in pristine condition. The roofs of our carport and field stone porch are tongue-and-groove oak, recently installed by my husband and myself. Our original field stone "shed/garage" is in beautiful condition and recently repainted to match the new vinyl siding. Our kitchen was completely remodeled in 2014, featuring all new stainless steel appliances, Kraft-Maid cupboards, quartz counter tops and slate flooring. Our main floor full bath was remodeled in 2015 and includes built-in cupboards, ceramic floor tiles and the original, refinished 8" baseboards and trim. All doors are the original oak and pine. We have just finished building field stone steps in the back yard which will lead to a cement porch which we will have poured in the coming Spring. Our back yard has been lovingly landscaped by us over the past 25 years and includes 5 old beautiful black walnut trees.
