Available starting April 1 and after. The available space has some overlap with the overall house, but has a lot of privacy and is not a shared living situation. Details explained below. Lower-level day-light space includes: private entry, large daylight bedroom/living room/office area aprx 15x30 with 3 windows facing east and south, and a large closet; separate kitchenette area with bamboo floor, dishwasher, sink, under-counter refrigerator, work counter and lots of cupboard and drawer space. Includes microwave, countertop oven with convection and two electric burners (modern and functional, but not ideal for someone who cooks a lot). Large modern bathroom off of kitchenette with heated tile floor, bathtub/shower and daylight window facing north. This bathroom is for tenants use solely. Use of large modern laundry room with laundry folding counter, a second counter-height fridge for tenant; additional storage. The kitchenette is adjacent to a household members bedroom and is also a throughway for household to the modern spacious shared laundry area; Use of fully fenced backyard: sitting area, garden, grass area, bbq, hammock...; use of portion of large freezer off of laundry room; Highest residential high-speed internet and additional recycling via ridwell (included in utility cost - $100/mo); This is a fabulous neighborhood for walking or biking with safe, quiet, neighborly feel. Easy on street parking in front of home. About 8 blocks to Burke-Gilman and 4 blocks to PCC. Plenty of on-street parking. (less then a mile to Children's Hospital , 1.5 miles to UW main campus) Note: Some areas of lower-level intersect with overall household space (although bedroom/living space completely private) and kitchenette and bathroom are used by tenant only. There is a second occupied bedroom on the same level of the house. We are able to accommodate viewing of the space. Will conduct background check prior to signing lease. No pets at this time and definitely no smoking. (Owner has one dog with access to yard.) Due to dog on premises, not a good situation for any other animals. But ideal tenent will have strong affinity for dogs. As access to the private entrance includes a sloped walkway, not a good fit for any ambulatory issues. (Note: zillow details below are from their records for the whole house, not the basement unit. There is NOT a disposal in the unit. Due at signing - deposit and first month rent. A background/credit check will be run prior to offering lease.
