This is a fully-furnished, 1-month rental available for any 30 days (negotiable) anytime during September 1 to Oct 31, 2026 (open for some leeway on dates). IF YOU WANT A SHORT TERM RENTAL FOR ONLY $222/DAY IN A BEAUTIFUL, QUIET LOCATION, THIS ONE IS HARD TO BEAT! Our home is in a secluded, gated community which will give you peace, quiet and safety. The back yard faces a large open space; there is no neighbor in front, and there is ample privacy on both sides of the house. The extra-large Master Bedroom and bath are located DOWNSTAIRS, featuring a jacuzzi tub, double shower, walk-in closet, an office area and a high-end massage chair. Our kitchen has been upgraded and has every kind of appliance. The family room, next to the kitchen, has a 60" TV and surround sound speaker system, L-shaped sofa set. Our backyard garden features a 3-level fountain and flowers and shrubs that attract birds and butterflies galore. The upstairs "patio room" has an expansive view of hills and native plants. Two of the bedrooms share a full bath, while the corner bedroom has its own private bathroom. Our location is VERY quiet, yet is close to a dozen restaurants, stores and supermarkets (Sprouts, Trader Joes, Stater Brothers, Target, Costco etc). When the sliding door is open, you only hear the fountain and chirping birds. Hummingbirds and butterflies hang out in our yard all day. Eight miles of walking & biking trails can be reached directly from our home. One block away is our newly renovated community pool and jacuzzi. Next to the pool is the historic Leo Carrillo Historical Park (with dozens of peacocks). Three miles away is the Alga Norte Olympic pool and sports center. Carlsbad's streets are very bike-friendly. Excellent swimming / surfing beaches are less than 10 minutes away (5 miles). Downtown Carlsbad has a paved, 2 mile walking path along the beach. South Ponto Beach is our favorite beach for walking on the sand, swimming, boogey-boarding and picnicking at sunset. To summarize, our home offers you a low-stress, peaceful, safe vacation retreat. Fully furnished--ONLY AVAILABLE for one month but can be September or October (with some room for flexibility in duration). Small pets negotiable. Full credit & background check. $350 cleaning fee.
