About the Unit This rental is a two-story unit in Queen Anne, available in mid-December. It comprises two bedrooms, with the second room being a smaller one with a loft inside it. There is a walk-through bathroom with a shower/tub upstairs and a half-bath with a toilet and sink downstairs. Highlights of the space include floor-to-ceiling picture windows that provide great light; nice views, as a result of the location on Queen Anne hill; some warm wood accents that highlight the Pacific Northwest; a front and back balcony, for grilling or enjoying a glass of wine; stainless steel appliances; wood floors; in-unit washer and dryer; vaulted ceilings; a shared storage room; dedicated covered parking spot, with an extension cord if EV charging is needed; wood stove, perfect for Seattle's chilly nights; and a bike rack in the unit. The space gets a great cross-breeze, but in recent years, with Seattle getting hotter, we have purchased an AC unit and installed a ceiling fan. The unit is part of a six-unit condo building, with friendly and quiet neighbors. Everyone tends to be on a first-name basis and will bring your package inside when they see it by the outside door. Rent covers water, sewer and trash; tenant covers electricity. About the Neighborhood The rental is located on the north side of Queen Anne, a great combination of quiet, residential living, with plenty of walkability to bars/breweries, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, yoga studios, ice cream, etc. The top of Queen Anne is a 15-minute walk, Fremont is a 15-minute walk, and Ballard is a 40-minute walk or 7-minute drive. Downtown Seattle is a 20-minute bus ride away, and there is a high-frequency bus stop two blocks down the hill. The condo is two blocks from Seattle Pacific University (SPU). There is also a soccer field, track, park with big trees, and playground three blocks away, at David Rogers Park. Whether you want calm/quiet, you want outings at night, or you want convenience, you will be able to find it here! Condo Rules -No smoking of anything is allowed in the unit or on the grounds. Edibles are fine. -No dogs. Up to two cats are allowed for an additional charge of $30/month/cat. -No parties. Having a group of friends over for some drinks and laughs is fine, but ongoing loud music and late-night gatherings are against the building's rules. -No smoking of anything is allowed in the unit or on the grounds.
