This late nineteenth century four story townhouse was recently gutted and renovated. Unit 3 (on the fourth floor) has many south and east facing windows, with two more windows in the bathroom facing north and west. The place has a light airy feeling, with the living area open to a kitchen, and an almost brand new oven, fridge, microwave. The bathroom is spacious, comfortable, has privacy with lots of light. Small but not too small bedroom has large closet. I (landlord) lived in this top floor unit - hence the few furnished photos - while waiting for house construction down the street to be completed. I like this apartment a lot, and could easily stay. Two year old bluestone sidewalk. The apartment is in the historic Rondout section of Kingston, just around the corner from Cornell Park and the newly renovated, iconic Wurts Street Bridge - and the Wurts Street Bridge promenade, bordering the water. Close to shops, restaurants, and cafes such as Ship to Shore, Rosie General, Kingston Wine Co., Armadillo, Brunette Wine Bar, Clove & Creek. Music events and festivals are frequent, and during many months there is a weekly farmers market. It's a great neighborhood. Unit has its own meter. Landlord will live one block away. Owner pays for water. Renter responsible for gas and electric. Absolutely no smoking. Mid to small sized dog okay - no yapping or frequent barking. Pitch in taking recycle and trash containers out Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
